When the Mulcahys took me in it was truly an overwhelming experience. I am an addict in recovery with three years sobriety and also a single mother. When they opened their doors to me and my children, when we needed them the most, I broke down in tears of disbelief that this couple is real. No one has ever helped me the way they have. They showed me support and an understanding that is matched by their kindness. They have blessed my life in a way that they truly cannot imagine. My children and I have been shown a love through them that has enhanced our meaning of life.
