Our Board
Dave Allen
Dave has spent his professional career in the printing industry and prior to retiring in 2014, he owned his own company for sixteen years. Dave focuses on his passion to serve the Lord and others, and in addition to his leadership role with CityHope – he serves as a treasurer for the board of R 15:20 Ministries (a non-profit that financially supports church planters in New England). Dave also leads Hope Overflowing, a program that creates opportunities for community members living in isolation to build relationships through the act of gathering and fellowship.
Matt Furr
For over 20 years in a variety of cities, Matt has leveraged his role as a pastor to help people engage in the wholistic good news of Jesus. This is good news for the poor, vulnerable and marginalized. It is also good news for the affluent and well-resourced. Currently serving as the Lead Pastor of CenterPoint Church in Concord, NH (centerpointnh.org), Matt is deeply committed to working together with many local churches, seeing the goodness of God revealed in mercy and justice throughout the Capital Region.
Wendy Gazaway
Wendy started her career working for a consulting firm creating health economic models. When she married her husband David Gazaway, she shifted career paths and has been working in the insurance industry with him at Allied Insurance Agency for over 20 years. Wendy has always had a heart for serving. She has volunteered for various organizations from church ministries to local organizations and town government. Lending a helping hand is a way she shows her love for Christ and others, and it brings her great joy.
Ken Koornneef
Ken is President and CEO of Nobis Group with a professional background in civil engineering. He is passionate about giving back to the community, volunteering and supporting organizations like the Concord Boys and Girls Club and the United Way. More recently, Ken has served and continues to serve as a board member at several non-profits including: CATCH Neighborhood Housing, NH Center for Non-Profits and the CRDC (Capital Regional Development Council).
Catherine Matteo
Currently the controller and accountant of a small tool distributor, Catharine has over 20 years of accounting experience in a variety of fields. Previously, she worked with the Department of Defense Contractor’s Office, a printing distributor, and a small start-up for-profit business which Catherine helped grow into a three million dollar company in over 5 years. She has served on the boards of the NAEYC in Rhode Island and with The Foundation for Bioethics in Technology. Catharine led successful fundraising initiatives for both of these organizations. Catharine is passionate about using her skills to help marginalized communities. She likes to, “keep it local and keep it Christ-centered drawing those to Jesus to experience His grace, healing and transformational power.”.
